Obituary- Martin W. Moore

November 11, 1964 - September 9, 2025

Martin Wynter Moore was known as Marty to all his friends and relatives. He left this world to

go to a much more beautiful place on September 9, 2025. He was preceded in death by his

mother, Mignon D. Powell and his father, Jack W. Moore. They are all together now with our

Father in Heaven. We thought we had suffered a huge loss when Marty left us, but the family

has since discovered that Marty left us with a very valuable gift. His leaving has brought his

family together with love and help for each other. We do still miss him very much.

Marty was born in Redlands, California, but lived in Yucaipa, California with his mother and

father, until he moved to Twin Peaks, California with his mother and stepfather. There he

attended and graduated from Rim of the World High School. After high school, he enrolled in a

four-year apprenticeship program, which he also graduated from, to become a Journeyman

Millwright. As years went by, Marty lived and worked in many towns in California.

Marty was a very hardworking man, and an excellent Millwright for over 40 years. He has fixed

a lot of machinery and equipment in the state of California, and has built a power plant or two,

as well. He was a third-generation millwright in a family with five generations of millwrights.

Marty was an excellent father and grandfather. He is survived by his son Mikeal, and Mikeal's

three daughters, Maloree, Delilah, and Emilee. Also, his stepdaughter, Brittany Herrera, and

her son, Rhett. Marty's sister Cheri Tutthill and his brother, Ed Moore.

Marty left us with a thousand stories to tell about him, which we will all enjoy telling over and

over, whenever we are together. We will all miss him very much and look forward to seeing him

again in that Beautiful Place. Rest in peace, little brother. We love you!

There will be a Celebration of Life on October 11, 2025, at 12:00 noon.

Please call 840-336-4443 or 925-381-2493 for details if you would like to attend.
