Martina Nunnery Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Coats Funeral Home - Waterford on Jan. 12, 2026.
NUNNERY, MARTINA C. (née Seminitis), passed away unexpectedly on January 10, 2026, at 80 years of age. Martina was the loving and cherished wife of the late Billie Nunnery, sharing 53 years of a devoted and faithful marriage. Though heartbroken by Bill's passing, Martina carried her love for him with her always.

She was the dear and devoted mother of David (Vicki) Nunnery, Jeffrey Nunnery, Jennifer Nunnery, Daniel (Alison) Nunnery, and Christina (Chris) Nunnery; and a proud grandmother of Jackson, Shane, Joseph, Grace, Mykelle, Thalia, Antonia, Niko, and Billie. Martina was the beloved sister of Shirley (the late Jack) Mooney, Tony (Nancy) Seminitis, Rosie (the late Philip) Bistrick, and the late George (Janette) Seminitis. She also leaves behind her loyal and beloved dog, Pepper.

Martina dedicated 19 years of service as a bus driver for Clarenceville Schools, retiring in 2008. Known for her strong will and independent spirit, she was dependable, caring, and always willing to step up for those she loved. Family was the center of Martina's world-she relied on them not only for support, but for laughter, companionship, and fun.

She enjoyed camping, playing cards, and trips to the casinos, embracing life's simple pleasures and shared moments. A longtime member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Martina's faith was an important part of her life and provided her strength throughout the years.

Martina will be remembered for her fierce love for her family, her resilience, and her unwavering presence in the lives of those she held dear. Her legacy lives on through her children, grandchildren, and all who were blessed to know her. Funeral service will be held January 15, 2026 at 10:30 AM at COATS FUNERAL HOME-WATERFORD. Burial follows at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Family will receive friends Wednesday, January 14, 2026 from 4-8 PM.
