MARTYNE (Marty) S. GLENN, passed away on October 5, 2025. Marty was born on February 20, 1933, in Quakertown, Pa., and was raised in Collegeville, Pa. She was a graduate of West Chester State College where she majored in Physical Education and English. She was a college athlete playing field hockey, basketball and softball. After graduation she was a teacher at Ocean City High School, Pleasantville Middle School and a Gym Teacher at Absecon Schools. She was a member of several clubs and organizations far too many to list. She was also a founding charter member of Reformation Lutheran Church were she was always very engaged and attended services. Marty loved playing golf, fishing with her husband and was always an avid Phillies, Eagles and Flyers Fan. Marty's greatest pleasure was spending time with her many friends and family especially her granddaughters. Marty was preceeded in death by her husband, Frank P. Glenn (married 61 years); her parents Otto and Charlotte; her sister Mary Noel (Ed); her sister-in-laws Eleanor Baldwin (Harry), Dorothy McGrath (Tom), Helen Conover (Harold); and her infant daughters Jean, Jane and Lynn. Marty is survived by her son Paul and his wife Joanne; granddaughters Megan Shinn (Brinton), Claire Glenn (fiancé' Alex), and many wonderful nieces and nephews along with grand-nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Friday October 10th from 9:30 to 11 am at Reformation Lutheran Church, 633 S. New York Road, Galloway, N.J. A service will be held at 11 am at the church. Interment will be held at Atlantic County Veterans Cemetery, Estell Manor, N.J., immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Reformation Lutheran Church or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
