Marva May Jackson (Berry), a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and member of the International Marvelous Marva Club and a resident of Eden Prairie, Minnesota, peacefully passed away on July 14, 2023, at the age of 95. Marva was born on September 5, 1927, in Massillon, Ohio, to Paul and Elma Berry.
Marva was a kind and soft-spoken lady who had a passion for needlepoint. Her talent earned her several awards at the Minnesota State Fair. She was also known for always wearing earrings and necklaces that added to her elegant charm. Marva was an active member of Cross of Glory church, where she joined the choir and served in various positions. She found great joy in her time at Summit Place, which she fondly referred to as her castle. There, she continued her love for music by joining the choir, attended Bible study, and enjoyed solving jigsaw puzzles
Marva will be deeply missed by her family. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Frank and Sue Jackson; her daughter, Rita Kramer, and her late son-in-law, Jim Kramer; her granddaughter, Wendy Noard; her grandson, Chad Jackson (Wendy); her granddaughter, Jamie Chesna (David); her grandson, Jacob Kramer (Shelley); her granddaughter, Jessica Kramer (Dan Kravas); her great-granddaughters, Aurora Noard, Ava Noard, Jordyn Jackson, Rielly Chesna, Mackenzie Karvas, Dani Karvas, Scarlett Kramer; and her great-grandsons, Joseph Jackson, Canon Chesna, Logan Kramer.
Marva was preceded in death by her loving husband, Roger Jackson; her parents, Paul and Elma Berry; her brother, Jack Berry; and her sister-in-law, Laverne Berry.
In her career, Marva devoted herself to being a dedicated homemaker and also worked at an Insurance Agency before retiring.
Outside of her professional life, Marva had a wide array of hobbies. She was a skilled baker, an avid needlepoint enthusiast, and enjoyed gardening. Marva had a beautiful singing voice and cherished the time she spent singing. Additionally, she found solace in solving jigsaw puzzles and wood carving.
A memorial service to celebrate Marva's life will be held on July 31st at 2:00 p.m. with a gathering of friends and family 1 hour before at Crystal Lake Chapel & Cemetery, located at 3816 Penn Avenue North, Minneapolis, MN 55412. For more information about the service, please contact 612-521-3677.

Marva May Jackson will be remembered as a classy and kind-hearted lady who brought joy to the lives of those around her. Her legacy of love and grace will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends. May she rest in peace.

I first met Marva at Summit Place. I so enjoyed becoming friends with her.She was a very special person. Thoughts and prayers are with you during this sad time.
