Marva Janeen (Moran) Sheppard passed away peacefully with her husband by her side on November 29, 2025 after a 12 year battle with Alzheimers. Born in Seattle to Frank Zavalla Moran Jr and Cornelia Rose Allman. Marva was a lifelong West Seattlite, she attended Lafayette, Madison and West Seattle High Schools. Marva was very proud of her Native American heritage and was a member of the Oglala Sioux Tribe.
Later in life, Marva married Steven R. Sheppard and they shared over twenty-five wonderful years together. Marva loved West Seattle and worked at Husky Deli in the Junction for many years. She will be forever loved and missed by all who knew her.
