Marvedean "Dina" Rogers Karavan, 64, of Myrtle Beach, passed away peacefully on December 19, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, love, and quiet strength that touched all who knew her.

She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and everyone whose life she graced.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Renata Rogers.

Dina is survived by her daughter, Bree Karavan; her grandson, Brightin Baxley; and her sister, Gitta Rogers Thompkins.

The family will be holding a private service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dina's memory to the Horry County Animal Shelter.

Such a loving light and smile she shared with all .... So very blessed to know her.. I know she is with all Gods creatures...that´s her heaven

Nie haben wir uns persönlich gesehen, obwohl ich im Jahr 1993 nur etwa 200km von deinem Wohnort entfernt gewesen bin. Irgendwie sollte es wohl nicht sein!? Einige Zeit später als mein Besuch in den USA zu Ende ging, waren es dann wieder fast 9000km! So sind wir uns nie begegnet (dein Cousin Bernd aus Germany)
Trotzdem wirst du immer in meiner Erinnerung als meine Cousine Dina, aus Myrtle Beach bleiben!
