Marvin Archer, age 86 of Sheboygan, passed away on May 5, 2024. He was born on March 16, 1938 to Roy and Dorothy (Mackey) Archer, in Iowa.
Marvin served in the U.S. Army from 1955-1958 and then did five extended years reserve. He worked at Paper Box & Specialty for 40+ years before retiring. He enjoyed his retirement fishing, lawn mowing, woodworking, tinkering with small machinery, and spending time with family.
He is survived by his wife of forty-eight years, Joan. His son Kevin (Joy) Archer; daughters, Lisa Brown, Patti (Curt) Stauber, Tina Brown (Mike); best friends, Richard and Kathy Parr; and niece Elicia (Richard) Wagner; grandchildren, Jena (Nick) Gaylord, Nathan (Migena) Archer, Trevor (Jessica) Wallner, Robyn (Matt) Stoltzmann, Brandon (Kelly) Stauber, Ryan (Kaylee) Stauber, Nathanael (Kayla) Wagner, Sawyer Nelson; six great-grandchildren, Millie, Logan, Lucy, Gracie, Wyatt and Ava; sisters, Margaret Clements, Carolyn McDaniel; and other relatives.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Delbert, Harold, Kenneth and Rolland; sisters, Betty (Tom) Brammer and Marilyn (Albert) Lousier.
The family would like to thank the staff at Vince Lombardi Cancer Center, Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice, and nurse Bre for all of their care and help.
