Marvin Ash Obituary
Marvin Craig Ash, aged 62, of Commerce, Georgia, passed away on November 14, 2024. Born in Lawrenceville, Georgia, on September 12, 1962, Marvin was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and whose remarkable life touched the hearts of many.
He leaves his beloved spouse, Bernice Elaine Pugh Ash, and is survived by three daughters: Tonya Daniel, Brandy Stephens, and Amber (Chris) Colon. Marvin’s legacy continues through his son, Kenneth Ash, and extends to his cherished siblings, Barbara (David) Chester, Patricia (Randy) Engevoled, Kenneth (Deborah) Ash, Roger (Tressa) Ash, and Richard (Jera) Ash. He was a proud grandfather to 15 grandchildren and a loving great-grandfather to 5 great-grandchildren.
Marvin was preceded in death by his parents, Horace and Carolyn Roebuck Ash, who provided him with a foundation of love and values that he carried throughout his life.
Visitation will be held on November 15, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Ivie Funeral Home located at 1053 S. Elm Street, Commerce, GA 30529. The funeral service will take place on November 16, 2024, at 1:00 PM, also at Ivie Funeral Home, culminating in a celebration of a life well-lived and a spirit that will never be forgotten at Grey Hill Cemetery.
Marvin will be remembered for his kindness, strength, and unwavering love for his family. His legacy will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
