Tressa Ash Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Tim Stewart Funeral Home - Lawrenceville on Feb. 20, 2026.
ASH – Tressa (Haney) Ash, age 57 of Oxford, GA passed away on Tuesday, February 17, 2026. She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Haney. Tressa is survived by her husband of 29 years, Roger Ash; daughters, Talisa (Adam) Garrett; Cassidy Ash; stepchildren, Anna (Chris) Williamson; Roger Ash; Adam (Abigail) Ash; mother, Linda (Holcombe) Haney; sister, Kathy Haney (Joe Pruitt); grandchildren, Emma Garrett, Amelia Garrett, Greylyn Ash, and Gannon Greene; and step- grandchild, Aliyanna Ash. She is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends. Teresa was a devoted mother, grandmother, family member, and friend whose love and warmth touched everyone who knew her. For over a decade, she worked at the hospital as a nurse tech, where she found true purpose in caring for others. She had a natural gift for helping people and a compassionate heart that made patients and coworkers alike feel comforted and supported. Serving others wasn't just her job - it was who she was. Outside of her work, Teresa's greatest joy was her family and friends. She loved deeply and wholeheartedly, always showing up for the people she cared about. Her home was filled with laughter, conversation, and the unmistakable feeling of being loved. Becoming "Wee Wee" to her grandchildren was one of her proudest accomplishments and greatest blessings. She was so incredibly proud of each of them and loved them more than they will ever truly know. Her grandchildren were the light of her life, and she cherished every moment spent with them. Teresa's kindness, strength, and beautiful spirit will be forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her legacy of love and compassion will continue to live on in her family and in the many lives she touched. A Visitation will be held at the Lawrenceville Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home on Saturday, February 21, 2026, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM. A Funeral Service will be held in the Lawrenceville Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home on Sunday, February 22, 2026, at 3:00 PM.
