Marvin Cochran Obituary
Marvin Hill Cochran, 64, of South Wayne Avenue, Waynesboro, passed away Monday morning, February 9, 2009, at Augusta Medical Center.
He was born January 17, 1945, in Renick, West Virginia, the son of the late Maynard L. and Gracie Holmes Cochran.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Cochran.
Survivors include his wife, Bernice Ann Cochran; one daughter, Crystal Gayle Cochran of Charlottesville; brothers and sisters, Hulda Cochran and Bertha Cochran and Tommy Herring of Scottsville, Maynard L. Cochran Jr. of Charlottesville, Bernard Cochran of Lewisburg, West Virginia, Samuel Cochran and Kathy of Stanardsville; very special nephews, Robert Cochran and his wife, Jeannie and their children, Scoopydoo, Ryan and Hope; Roy Cochran and his wife, Katie and their children, Roy Jr. and Harley Dale; Also surviving are several brothers and sisters-in-law, cousins, other relatives and his friends at Springdale Apartments.
The family received friends from 7 until 8 p.m. Wednesday, February 11, 2009, at Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes of Waynesboro.
A graveside service will be conducted 2 p.m. Thursday, February 12, 2009, in Lewisburg, West Virginia.
