Marvin Fleenor Obituary
He was born in Salem, IN on November 12, 1945 and is the son of Chester and Alma Fleenor. He married Nancy Gibson on June 29, 1970, and she precedes him in death.
Marvin worked for and retired from Knauf's in Shelbyville, Indiana after 23 years with the company. He served 4 years in the Army National Guard. and was Honorably discharged in 1968. He loved to tinker in his garage and yard, fishing, watch movies, and to travel.
He is survived by three sons Gary (Vicki) Brumfield, of Fremont, MI, Tony Nicholson, of Neenah, WI, Timmy (Beth) Nicholson, of Rushville, IN; Daughter-in-law Sheila (Terry) Brumfield; nine grandchildren, Travis Brumfield, Christopher (Krystal) Brumfield, Cassandra (Suzanne) Brumfield, Ashley (Michael) Petr, Amanda (Josh) Shefchik, Matthew (Jennifer) Nicholson, Addam (Anne) Nicholson, Tammy (Sean) Baker, Charlotte Nicholson, 17 great-grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren, step grandchildren, His brother Verl (Shug) Fleenor, His nephew and friend Stanley Hattabaugh., many neices and nephews, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, his parents, his son, Terry Brumfield, his sisters Gladys Lynn, Jesse Haley, Betty Hawes, Virginia (Jenny) Wilson, and Patty Drake.
A celebration of life will be held by the family at a later date. Memorial contributions are asked to be made to Rush County American Legion Honor Guard 221 N. Perkins St. Rushville, IN 46173
