Bountiful, UT-Our Rock, Father and Grandpa was reunited with the love of his life on January 21,2024. Marvin was born Aug. 18 1947 in Bountiful Utah, He graduated from Bountiful High school where he was a star on the football field, also where he met and fell head over heels for his sweetheart Kristy. Shortly after Graduation he joined the Marine Corps where he was called to duty in Vietnam. He returned honorably into the loving arms of Kristy Youngberg and in 1969 they were married, together they raised four children. Marvin was an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting , horseback riding, team penning, shooting, fishing and golf, but what made it so memorable and enjoyable was the time spent with his family. Marvin was looked up to and admired by many, as a father, grandfather, brother, friend, uncle and mentor. He will be dearly missed.
He is survived by his children, Daughters- Tara Sloane England (Robert), Amberlee Aaron Williams (Adrian), Megen Ann Flanary (Geno) Son- Justice Cody George (Madison) Brothers- Aaron Gary George (June), Rex Kent George (Sharon) Sister- Karin Zola Wolfe (Joseph). 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. He is proceeded in death by his Wife, Kristy Lou George, brother Val J George, Father, Rex L George and Mother, Margaret George.
The family will respectfully honor his wishes by not holding a public service and would invite you to share your stories, thoughts and pictures with his family

Marv was not only a brother Marine but a very good friend, We had many great adventures together from riding horses up from Mueller park back into the mountains to hunt Deer to hunting Coyotes and more. Marv and I were running a sewer line back in the 70's for a new house when the trench caved in on us, I was buried up above my waste, all I could see was the top of his head, our shovels was buried beneath us, I had to dig him out with my bare hands, Thank God I was able to get him free. Thanks for all the great memories my friend. I'm sure Marv is up guarding the streets of Heaven like the good Marine he was, Semper Fi and God Bless you my friend.
