Marvin L. Klein, age 88, passed away on August 24th, 2024 in Saddle River, New Jersey. Born on March 11,1936, in Paterson, NJ, he was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great- grandfather, embodying the true spirit of a mensch with his generous and big-hearted nature.
Marvin graduated from Eastside High School in Paterson, New Jersey and went on to earn a BS degree from Rutgers University. He honorably served in the U.S Army Reserves for six years, dedicating his time to his country. Professionally, Marvin was a respected partner at the accounting firm Zarrow, Zarrow and Klein CPA, where he was known for his integrity and expertise.
Marvin is survived by his loving wife, Natalie Tender; children Leslie (John) Moser and Suzanne (Philip) Zito; grandchildren Hilary (Shawn) Rafferty, Melissa Moser, Andrew Moser, Alexandra Zito-McCrite and Jesse (Salwa) Zito; and great-grandchildren, Justin and Penelope Zito- McCrite, Zade and Ilya Zito, Dylan and Charlie Rafferty. He was predeceased in death by his parents, Harry and Rose Klein; sister, Helene Sussman; and son Ronald (Laura) Klein.
A man of many interests, Marvin was actively involved in music, singing, acting, and sports such as golf, tennis and bocci. His leadership roles included President of Bnai Brith and the Temple Emanual Choral Society, and Treasurer at his temple in Marco island. He worshiped at the Fair Lawn Jewish Center and the Jewish Congregation of Marco Island, where he was deeply involved in the community.
Services are Monday, August 26th at 12:00PM at Robert Schoem's Menorah Chapel, W-150 Route 4 East, Paramus, New Jersey.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Congregation Bnai Israel Fair Lawn Jewish Center or the Jewish Congregation of Marco Island. Marvin's legacy of warmth, generosity and leadership will be dearly missed and forever cherished by all who knew him.
Following the funeral, shiva will be observed at the home of Leslie and John Moser, 22 Jolen Dr., Hillsdale, NJ. Minyan will take place each evening at 7:30 PM Visitation as follows Mon: following burial -9:00pm Tues and Wed: 2-5, 7-9
Thurs and Friday visitation will be at the home of Natalie Klein, 3417 Warrens Way, Wanaque,NJ Thurs: 2-9 Fri: 2-5

Uncle Marvin your life touched so many hearts. Your legacy is going to live on long after you and will ensure we remember all you accomplished. Thank you for being an important part of our lives, you were present for our most precious moments, marriage, children, our son´s Bris & Bar mitzvah, and the countless holidays we were included in. Rest easy, Uncle Marvin you were an original.
