Marvin Melcher Obituary
He was born in Louisville, Kentucky on April 18, 1943 to the late Arthur and Marcella Melcher.
Marvin was a graduate of Our Lady of Lourdes and Trinity High School. He served in the Army National Guard. Marvin was an avid Kentucky fan, he enjoyed the outdoors and had a great love for fishing.
Marvin is preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Marvin Melcher & Marcella Rose DeVoto Melcher; and his sister-in-law, Kim Melcher.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 57 years, Donna Melcher; children, Jeffrey Scot Melcher (Corina), Kimberly Boyd (Jason); siblings, Allen Melcher and Carol Fox (Martin Randall); five grandchildren, Shane, Evan, Ryan, Hayden, Madison and one great-grandchild, Everly.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 14, 2024 from 4 p.m. - 8 p.m. at Evergreen Funeral Home, 4623 Preston Hwy, Louisville, Kentucky 40213. A service to honor the life of Marvin will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday. Marvin will be laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery.
