Marvin Richard Morris, 89, of Milan, Missouri passed away Friday, November 7, 2025 at Sullivan County Memorial Hospital in Milan.
Marvin was born February 14, 1936 in Milan to Eddie and Edna (Fanning) Morris. On June 4, 1961 he married Karron (Bundridge) Morris, she preceded him in death in 2004. Marvin is also preceded in death by: His parents; two sons, Richard Lee Morris and Randy Dean Morris; two brothers, Donald (Virginia) Morris and Delbert Morris; Sister-in-law, Shirley (Chess) Dunlap; brothers-in-law, Roger Bundridge and Randy Tolle.
Marvin is survived by: Two daughters, Carolyn (Kenny) Dowell of Milan and Carla (Rob) Guffey of Milan; 10 Grandchildren; 26 Great Grandchildren; 11 Great Great Grandchildren; a sisters-in-law, Kay Morris of Milan, Linda (Jim) Dunlap of Milan, Neta Tolle of Iowa, and Shirley Bundridge of Milan; and several nieces and nephews.
Marvin grew up in Milan, graduating from Milan C-II High School. He moved to Illinois for several years, working for Mars Candy Company, moving back to Milan in 1965. He then drove a truck delivering feed for MFA, until retirement. Marvin enjoyed hunting and playing pitch. He loved tinkering on the farm and his horses.
A funeral service for Marvin will be held 2:00 PM, Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at Ruschmeier-Smith Funeral Home in Milan. Burial will follow at the Baker Cemetery. A visitation is scheduled for 5:00 to 7:00 PM, Monday evening, at the funeral home
.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Marvin's daughters to help with any last minute expenses.
