Marvin “Bam Bam” Naranjo from Espanola, NM passed away peacefully on August 16, 2023, at the age of 54 from a lengthy illness. He was a beloved son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend.
He is preceded in death by his Maternal Grandmother Amanda Naranjo who raised him, Mother Evelyn Naranjo Garduno, Stepfather Leonard Garduno, uncles Floyd Naranjo, Henry Trujillo, cousin Adelmo Trujillo and great-nephew, Zachariah Sanchez.
Marvin is survived by his siblings, Valerie Naranjo Maestas (Steve), Yvette Naranjo, Jacinto Garduno, Camille Garduno-McMillan (Matt); aunts Ercilia Trujillo, Doris (Archie) Martinez, Virginia Naranjo, JoAnn (Joe) Valdez; nieces Angelica, Naomi, Amberly, Brittany, Miquela, Carmella and nephews, Jared, Gilbert, Jace, Landon, Riley and many other relatives.
Marvin was handsome, quiet and extremely intelligent. He enjoyed listening to nostalgic rock and hanging out with his buddies. Some of his hobbies included reading and watching his favorite television series, Crime Scene Investigation, CSI. His favorite movies were Spiderman and Star Trek.
Our brother Marvin will truly be missed and will forever be in our hearts. We will cherish the laughter and memories we had with him.
Thank you to our family and friends for the phone calls, text messages, visits and monetary donations. We are forever grateful to each of you.
