Marvin was a valued friend and I got to know over the years while working at the Military District of Washington (MDW). My memorable moment will be when he stepped up on the stage to give a force protection briefing wearing a wolf head. It was from that day forward he was fondly called "Wolf." A true professional who had my utmost respect. He was dedicated to doing his best. I will miss my friend. He is now with Our Lord to continue his eternal life. My prayers go out to his family.

My sincere condolences to the Solomon family. I came to know SGM Solomon (aka "Solo") when we both worked at the Reserve Command Provost Marshal's office in Fort McPherson, GA. So sorry to hear of his passing. I hope that the family will find comfort knowing that although his earthly body has been stilled; his kind and generous spirit is forever soaring high.......

Family & friends,
Deacon Solomon was a gentleman. His poise, demeanor and presence represented strength and honor all the time.
Quiet but strong in stature, He surely will be missed among his church family, his immediate family and friends.
We pray God's strength will protect each of you and His light gleam in your hearts. May the Peace of God saturate every person who knew Senior Deacon Marvin Solomon.

"Just close your eyes, and you will see all the memories that you have of me. Just sit and relax, and you will find I'm really still there inside your mind. Don't cry for me now that I am gone, for I am in the land of song. There is no pain, there is no fear, so dry away that silent tear. Don't think of me in the dark and cold, for here I am no longer old. I'm in that place filled with love, known to you all as up above."~Author Unknown.
It was my honor and privilege to serve alongside you at the Provost Marshal Protection Directorate in the Military District of Washington. Your forward thinking and strategic planning saved countless lives. Rest in Paradise!
