Marvin Varnado Obituary
A visitation will be held at Tangipahoa Baptist Church on Wednesday, March 11, 2026 from 5 PM until 8 PM continuing on Thursday, March 12, 2026 from 9 AM until services at 11 AM. Burial will follow in the church cemetery and Bro. Mike Morris will officiate. Hartman Jones Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Marvin was born in New Orleans, LA on July 16, 1953 to the late Landon and Esther Varnado. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister Karen Little.
He is survived by his wife of 28 years Loretta Lynn Varnado; two children Tommy (Kayla) Varnado and Missy (Clay) Hudgins; three stepchildren Christi Haley, Angela Haley, and Rusty Banks; seventeen grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; along with other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Craig Varnado, T.J. Varnado, Caleb Hudgins, Dalton Hinds, and Lindsey King.
