Marvin Stewart Varner, 64 of Graham NC went to see the Lord peacefully on 18 November, 2025 with his devoted wife and loving children by his side. Marvin was born October 1st, 1961, to parents Thelma and Marvin Varner.
For many years he was a self-employed painter and home renovation contractor. Working with his hands transforming and refreshing spaces to his customers' delight. Later in life, he transitioned to building and apartment maintenance.
Marvin was a loyal, kind, generous, caring husband, father and grandfather that showed goodwill to all he encountered through actions opposed to words. He cherished his family above all and found his greatest joy in simple moments spent with them. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing and found serenity under open skies.
Marvin and his grandson spent many hours enjoying the outdoors, exploring all the possibilities nature had to offer and building special projects. He cherished every moment and memory.
Marvin will be remembered for his warm heart, selfless spirit and the love he freely gave to others around him. He will be deeply missed but the memories he leaves behind of laughter, love and a life lived with purpose will remain forever.
He is survived by his wife Cindy Varner, son Jason Varner of the home; daughter Amanda Wynn and son-in-law Jamie Wynn of Graham NC, grandson Carson Wynn, brother David Varner and wife Karolina Varner of Rural Hall, sister Sheila Garland and husband Wes Garland of Gibsonville NC, sister Michelle Allen and husband Terry Allen of Hendersonville, Tennessee , sister-in-law Diane Hopkins and husband Randal of
Graham, NC, mother-in-law Peggy Clark and brother-in-law Tim Clark, both of Burlington, NC and special friend Janet Kunselman of PA.

Marvin was preceded in death by father, Marvin S. Varner, mother, Thelma G. Varner and brother Leonard Crowell.
