The family will receive friends and family at the home of Curtis and Kareen Teasley at 35 S. Thomas Court, Erwin, NC starting on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, from 5pm-8pm.
Marvin leaves behind a legacy of love and connection, survived by his children- Kadijah (Jeremiah) Kirk, Marquis Wadsworth, Mekhi Wadsworth, Mariah Wadsworth, Maya Wadsworth, and Messiah Wadsworth; He was a proud grandfather to Zylen, Maliya, and Kaleb Simms; siblings- Rhodann (Sam) Blocker, Jacquelyn Faison, Phyllis McCroskey, Kareen (Curtis) Teasley, Leroy (Regina) Wadsworth, and Lisa Watson; his extended family includes many nieces and nephews- Rhonda Worthy, Nakita Wadsworth, Teknika McCroskey, Shena McCroskey, James "Jr" McCroskey, Michelle Faison, Antoinette Wadsworth, Jarrod Wadsworth, Danielle Wadsworth, Janet Wadsworth, Whitney Watson, and April Gaulden; special friend- Shelia Warren; and a host of great-nieces, great-nephews, and dear friends.
Public viewing will be held at Dafford Funeral Home Chapel- Dunn, Friday, October 17, 2025, from 12PM-12:55PM.
Funeral Service will follow @ 1PM, following the guidelines of the chapel for entrance and capacity.
Interment will follow in the Resthaven Cemetery, Dunn.
