Mr. Marvin Wade Young

On behalf of the Management and Staff of Heavenly Gates Funeral Home, in conjunction with the Young Family, we announce the services for Mr. Marvin Wade Young.
Brother Marvin Wade Young was born September 26, 1963 in Shreveport Louisiana to the union of the late George Young, Sr. and the Late Martha Lee Clarkson Young.
He accepted christ at an early age and was baptized under the leadership of the late Revered Charlie Henry at the Bright Morning Star Church in Abington, Louisiana.
Marvin was united in Matrimony to Demetria Young-Flores on April 9, 1997 where they have celebrated 27 years of marriage this year. Marvin was a dedicated and loving husband. He was also a brother, a father, a grandfather, an uncle, a cousin and a good and loving friend to many.
On Monday, September 9, 2024 in Dallas, Texas, the angel of God called Marvin home to be with Him where there is no pain, no burdens, no sickness and no tears. He was preceded in death by her parents, George Young, Sr. and Martha Lee Clarkson Young; four brothers, Tyrone Young, Richard Young, Ronnie Young and George Young, Jr; one sister, Denese Young-Smith.
He leaves to cherish his loving memories; his loving wife, Demetria, two daughters, Martha Alicia Young and Ashley Young; two grandchildren, Clarissa Yulianna Young Flores and Rey Guadalupe Young Gomez; three brothers, Donnie Young of Shreveport, Louisiana, Kenneth Young of Shreveport, Louisiana and Robert Young of Shreveport, Louisiana; three sisters, Brenda Young-Epps (Dennis) of Atlanta, Georgia, Debra Young-Moton of Shreveport, Louisiana and Diane Young-Davis of Shreveport, three brothers-in-law; and a host nieces, nephews, cousins, and other close relatives and friends
