Mary Malinda Agner

Mary Malinda Agner, 73, of Bellefontaine, passed away Wednesday morning, May 28, 2025, at her home surrounded by her loved ones.

Mary was born in Bellefontaine on February 22, 1952, to the late George L. and Alice Mae (Roberts) Adelsberger. She married Stanley Eugene “Butch” Agner on January 30, 1976, in Rushsylvania and he preceded her in death on February 16, 2006. Mary was also preceded in death by a brother George “Bill” Adelsberger. Two brothers survive: Joseph A. Adelsberger of Rogersville, Tennessee, and Robert Eric (Krista) Adelsberger of Bellefontaine.

Mary is survived by her sons: Terry Lynn Rodenberger of Bellefontaine, Travis Lee Rodenberger of Bellefontaine, Isaac C.R. Agner of Proctorville, Ohio, and Warren Tyler Agner of Price, Utah; 10 grandchildren: Blake (Colleen), Trenton, and Addie Rodenberger, Brody Burk, Riley, Alec (Madyson), and Paislee Rodenberger, Aurora Agner, Caiden Agner, and Sophia Agner; 5 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Mary worked as a registered nurse at Wilson Memorial and Mary Rutan Hospitals. She attended Vineyard Christian Fellowship, and was an “adopted mom” to many kids over the years. Mary loved her family and enjoyed supporting the kids and grandkids and attending their events.

Pastor Eric Cook will officiate a memorial service for Mary on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at noon at Vineyard Christian Fellowship, 624 Twp Rd 55, Bellefontaine, with a meal and fellowship time from 1-4pm following the service.
