Mary Ann Oelklaus (nee Messer), of St. Charles, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at the age of 82. Beloved wife of the late Donald Oelklaus; cherished daughter of the late Dallas and Mildred Messer; devoted mother of Julie (Michael) Donovan; loving grandmother of Colin (Claire) Donovan and Brendan Donovan; dear sister of Margy (Wayne) Sutton; Loved by many family and friends.

Mary Ann was married to the love of her life, Donald, for 57 wonderful years, and together they shared a passion for traveling with family and friends, creating cherished memories around the world. A dedicated educator, she taught for 30 years in the St. Charles School District, including at Null Elementary, Hardin Middle School, and Jefferson Middle School. Mary Ann also gave her time to the community through years of service on the St. Charles City Park Board. A proud alumna of Lindenwood University, she remained actively involved as a member of the Alumni Board. Mary Ann was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Memorials may be made in Mary Ann's name to St. Charles Park Foundation Scholarship Funds.
