Mary L Armenrout, 81, of Story, AR passed away June 17, 2025, at home in Story, AR. with family by her side. Mary was born March 25, 1944, in Peoria, IL to Klaus and Margret (Gratton) Krus. Mary is preceded in death by both parents, husband Edward Armentrout, one son Martin Armentrout, brothers Leroy, John, Tom, and Donald Krus, sisters Donna Krus, Lucille Daily, Sharon Cash, Margret Mullins, Marilyn Stahl, and one son-in-law Michael Lantz.
Mary is survived by one daughter Sheila Lantz, one son James Armentrout, one sister Ada Bradley, 7 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and other family and friends.
Burial will be in Stringtown Cemetery in Wyoming, IL. Arrangements under the direction of Thornton Funeral Home in Mount Ida, AR. Guest register at www.thorntonfh.com
