Mary Elizabeth Ax, of Hiram, Georgia, passed away on January 14, 2026, at the age of 67. Born on September 12, 1958, in Detroit, Michigan, to the late Thomas and Tessie Mee, Mary brought joy, warmth, and love to everyone she met.

Mary was known for her vibrant spirit and genuine love for life. She earned her bachelor's degree in art from Western Michigan University and went on to enjoy a fulfilling career as a Graphics Coordinator at Printpack, where her creativity and passion shone brightly.

Mary's zest for life was truly infectious. She loved to travel, holding a special place in her heart for the Caribbean. Her love for her dogs was immeasurable, and she found great joy in their companionship. An enthusiastic cook and gracious entertainer, Mary delighted family and friends with her culinary talents, bringing loved ones together around the dinner table.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her brother, Richard Mee.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Jeff Ax; her cherished fur baby, Izzy; her brother, James Mee; her sisters, Lynda Mee, Beverly (Grady) Amwake, and Teresa Wren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family. Mary's warm heart and lively spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Rest in peace, Mary. Your spirit will always shine brightly in our hearts.
