Mary Barlow Obituary
Funeral services honoring the life of our beloved mother will be held on Friday, January 23, 2026, at Cypress Lawn in the Tiffany Chapel from 12-2 pm. All family and friends are invited to gather and celebrate her legacy. Inurnment burial will follow after for immediate family only.Mary will be laid to rest in eternal peace with her late husband, Gerald Barlow.
Father ( please insert the name of the priest from St. Augustine Parish) will concelebrate the mass of catholic burial. Mary and Gerald were active parishioners for over 30 years.
Mary leaves to cherish her memory, her two daughters, Kirsha Nelson (Will Sr.) and Trenell Lynn Ortiz (Marcus) both of Daly City, Ca. Six grandchildren, Natashia, Ambrea, Ayanna, Juelian, Will Jr., and Andru.Two precious great-grandchildren, Orenzo and Joseph Jr.,who affectionately called her GiGi.
She is also survived by three brothers, Leroy Richard, WillieT Richard, Joseph Richard all of Opelousas, Louisiana. And Morman Richard Jr.of Orange, Texas; Three sisters, Delores Davenport of Baltimore,MD, Madonna Evans and Linda Rideaux both of Opelousas, LA. and a host of nieces and nephews, extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Morman Richard Sr. & Hilda Dejean Richard; four brothers, Arthur, Anthony, Julian, and Wilbert Richard and one sister, Lillian Richard.
We would like to take this time to thank all of our family and friends who took the time to reach out with words of encouragement, wisdom, and sympathy. Even sharing childhood memories with us! Mary will never be forgotten and will be in our hearts forever.
