Mary Maxine Bean, nee' West, 93,of Queen Creek, Arizona, peacefully returned to The Lord on Wednesday, November 12th 2025.

Her presence was a gift to all who knew her and she will be profoundly missed.

Maxine, as she preferred to be addressed, was born on May 1932, in Houston Texas, to Father Towell West, Mother Elizabeth West and 7 brothers and 2 sisters.

Soda jerk, affectionate and attentive Mother of 3, friendly cafeteria lady, college graduate, eagle-eyed legal secretary, international choir vocalist and loyal wife of two, multi-decade marriages; her greatest accomplishment was the nurturing of a spiritual presence that visibly affected others. She profoundly touched lives, imparting a sense of peace, grace and a deep expression of love for Jesus Christ.

Maxine is preceded in death by her two husbands, Glenn Bean and Norman Apple, and her daughter Joan Sells.

She is immediately survived by her sons, Lance and Jack Apple; her sister, JoAnn Quinnett; her six grandchildren: Jennifer Kubiak, Jason Sells, Jeff Sells, Elaine Thwaites, Alyssa Apple and Jack Apple II; her 8 Great Grandchildren; and the extended West family of Texas.

Notable survivors also include; the extended Apple Family of Florida; the extended Stensgaard Family of California; Glenn Bean's family; son, John and daughters, Kay-Re, Karen, Katie; dear friends, the Earl's, Paul and Sharon, Patti Rousseau.

A special recognition is noted for her friends and end-stage caregivers; Kym Healy, Melissa Gonzalez, Melissa Legger, and the compassionate caregivers at Live Well Senior Care and Aegis.

Services will be held Saturday, December 13 at Discovery Community Church, 1644 S. Lindsay Rd., Gilbert, AZ. A visitation will be held at 9:00am, followed by a funeral service at 10:00am. Burial will follow on December 15 at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.
