Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, Mary Therese Belkowski, age 87, of Rochester Hills, Michigan sadly passed away on Tuesday, April 30, 2024.
She will be lovingly remembered by her children: Therese (Tom) Wysocki, Martha (Tom) Davidson, Larry (Amy) Dunn, Pat (Jodie) Dunn, Michael (Martha) Dunn, Matthew Dunn; grandchildren: Tim (Sarah) Wysocki, Dan Wysocki, Joseph Wysocki, Angie Wysocki, Tom (April) Davidson, Bob (Kelly) Davidson, Katie (Al) Hilarides, Danielle (David) Noble, Reilly Dunn, MaryJo Dunn, Patrick Dunn, Ryan Tucker Dunn, Matthew Dunn, Samantha Dunn; great-grandchildren: Madison Davidson, Tommy Davidson, Jeffrey Hilarides, Erin Hilarides, Maximus Davidson, Eleanor Davidson, Felix Noble, Samuel Noble, Ethan Dunn; stepchildren: Nancy (Gene) Dudash, Cynthia (Jim) Crowley; step-grandchildren: Alexa Dudash, Elena Dudash, Ian Crowley, Gunnar Crowley, Reegan Crowley; sisters: Mary Ann Daily, Mary Francis DeFrates, Mary Margaretta McNabb, as well as numerous relatives and friends.
She was predeceased by her loving husband, Felix "Phil" Belkowski and her grandson Larry "Tiger" Dunn, her parents, Ray and Anne Stinson, her brother Ray Stinson, and her sister Mary Bernadette Fish.
Mary Therese was born in Wayne, Michigan and attended St. Mary's Catholic School. She was a devoted mother to her six children and an active member at St. Lawrence Parish in Utica where she worked for over twenty years both at the school and in the rectory. As both a mother and grandmother she was always present at special events from little league to dance recitals. Mary Therese loved spending time with her family, going to seniors with the girls, doing jigsaw puzzles, going to the casino, and golfing. Her kindness to everyone she met will always keep her in our minds and hearts.
A memorial service to remember and celebrate Mary Therese's life will be held on May 13, 2024 with a visitation beginning at 10 am until the time of her service at noon, at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 8459 Hall Road (3 blocks East of Van Dyke), Utica. Inurnment at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly.
