Mary Lillian Blaeuer

Mary Lillian Blaeuer, 89, of Cabot, passed away Monday, May 12, 2025. She was born September 1, 1935, in Griggsville, Illinois to the late Marvin and Lillie Ward Hoots. Mary was raised in Jacksonville, Illinois. She married Enrique Blaeuer in 1954 and shortly after he joined the military. They were stationed at Air Force bases all over the United States during his military career. Mary retired after working for twenty-three years for the Department of Defense in Little Rock. Anyone who knew her could see her love and devotion to her family. When she loved, it was with a deep love. Besides her great humor and being a strong, loyal, supportive wife and mother, Mary was also the best grandmother and great-grandmother. Everyone fondly called her "Memaw" and she will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. In addition to her parents, Marvin Andrew Hoots and Lillian Mae (Ward) Hoots, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Reba Martin (Jim), George "Frank" Hoots (Glenna), Hazel Johnson (Dick), Vivian Bunch (Butch), Delmer "Bud" Hoots (Shelba) and Kenny Hoots; son-in-law, Steve Wood and grandson, Boone Hogan.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband of seventy years, Enrique Blaeuer; children, Tony Blaeuer (Dawn), Pam Wood, Lee Blaeuer and lifelong friend Jeannette (Nettie) Pagano; grandchildren, Steven Blaeuer (Mattea), Ashton Blaeuer, Nikki Page (Adrian), Ashley McCormick (Jacob), Whitley Morehart (Zach), and Samantha Yamber (Paul); fifteen great-grandchildren, as well as numerous extended family members and friends.
The Celebration of Life service will be at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, May 22, 2025, at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home. There will be a meal and time of fellowship from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at The Community Place in Cabot, 2102 South Second St., Cabot, AR 72023.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any memorial donations or contributions be made to Cabot Animal Support Services, 2951 S. 1st Street, Cabot, AR, 72524.
