Mary Blakey Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Heritage Funeral Home & Cremation Services - Panama City on Feb. 24, 2026.
Mary Ann Blakey of Panama City, FL went to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 19, 2026. She was born April 2nd, 1965.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Louis Reed Blakey and Margaret Ann Schinkey-Blakey.

She is survived by her sister, Georgia Blakey-Smith (John Smith); nephew Dalton Warner; brother, Lewis Blakey; two daughters, Shantele Blakey and Patricia Blakey (Mason Stuckey); and her granddaughter, Paisley McWaters, who was her whole heart.

Mary was born in Illinois and moved to Florida at the age of 17. She went on to become a waitress, as she loved people and had an infectious smile. That beautiful smile is how she met the love of her life, Larry Rednour. The two of them traveled all over the world, going to many places and having many adventures. Mary was most proud of her two girls. It was truly amazing to see the bond and love between the three of them together. She also loved her music (Bon Jovi) and enjoyed watching her soap opera and having a good laugh with a cold Mountain Dew in her hand.

Mary was a small woman with a big heart and personality. Her legacy will truly be her three girls and their love they have for each other. She will be greatly missed.
