Mary Esther Bosela

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of our mother, Mary Esther Karabin Bosela, 91 who left us to be with our Lord the morning of February 17, 2025 after a beautifully lived life. Full of love, laughter, and resilience, she was a wonderful mother who was always there when we needed her the most, offering support, wisdom, and love in abundance. She also touched the lives of all who knew her leaving behind a legacy of kindness and strength.
Mary was born February 7, 1934 to Jack Karabin and Esther Karoline Karabin, the only girl to 3 brothers.
She worked for Tamarkin Company, Plakie Toy Company, Giant Eagle, Victor Temporaries and several other companies in Mahoning County before and while raising 2 daughters.
Known by her nieces and nephews as the "Cool Aunt", Mary enjoyed sewing, making costumes, gardening, cooking, caring for animals and attending rock concerts with her daughters.
Mary leaves behind her 2 loving daughters, Darlene Bosela of Coitsville who cared for her for 16 years and Karin Bosela of Florida.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Marty Bosela, and her brothers Tom and George Karabin.
Mary will be cremated and her ashes interned with her husband in a Tree of Life Urn and kept with her family.
