Mary Beth Brown was born on March 19, 1966 at Columbia, Louisiana to the union of her parents, the late Ed Brown and Elaine Smith Brown. She passed from this life on October 11, 2024 at her residence in Columbia following a sudden illness. Mary Beth was known to her family as the "Best Mom" and "Best Grandmother" ever. She was a comedian and had a wonderful sense of humor. Her smile could light up any room. She was one of four siblings born to her parents. She had previously lost two sisters, Carolyn Williams and Anna Rose Lisenby. She always missed her sisters but was blessed to have her remaining brother, Charles Brown of Columbia.
Left to cherish a lifetime of memories are her daughters, Chelsea Shirley (Marley) of Corpus Christie, Texas; and Danielle Flores of Conroe, Texas her brother, Charles Brown of Columbia; her grandchildren who were the apple of her eye, Izabella Brown, Joshua Gillispeie and Landan Clarke; her best friends, Stephanie Bearden and Curtis McMullen; and her beloved fur baby, "Odie Baby".
It had been requested by Mary Beth to be cremated when her time came and her family chose to abide by her wishes. A memorial service may be held at a later time.
