Mary "Mikki" Wise Bryant, 79, of Lexington, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 11th, 2025.

Mikki was preceded in death by her parents, William Thomas and Margaret Shadle Wise; her sisters, Susan Wise Marks and Kathleen Diane Cook; and her son, Troy Kevin Bryant.

She is survived by her devoted husband of sixty-four years, Thomas "Tommy" Wayne Bryant; son, Tony Bryant and wife, Angie, of Lexington; son, Todd Bryant and Shawnie, of Clemmons; brother, Thomas Wise Jr., of Maryland; grandchildren, Caitlin Meadows, Bronwen Sholar, Aaron Bowman, Kyra Bryant, and Turner Bryant; and great grandchildren, Ainsley and Harper Meadows.

In her early years, Mikki dedicated herself to raising her three sons. She later worked as a newspaper carrier in Lexington, then worked at Duracell, and eventually at Mrs. Hanes Moravian Cookies. She often smelled of sugar cookies which brought a smile to her grandchildren's faces. In the 1980s, Mikki and Tommy purchased a home in Holden Beach. Mikki loved her home, the beach, beach music, and all of her dear neighbors and friends she made there.

At Mikki's request her body will be cremated. There will be no formal visitation. Friends will be welcomed at the family residence.
