Mary Jane Burrows, 82, of Winter Springs, Florida, passed away peacefully on May 5, 2025. She was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina on July 12, 1942, to Donald Travis Burrows and Lillian Grace Burrows. At a young age of nine, her father introduced her to the game of golf and she fell in love.
Mary Jane moved to the United States to continue her education, at Monticello Women’s College, in the state of Illinois. After she completed her two-year associates degree, she moved to Florida, to reunite with her parents.
In 1964, Mary Jane married and shortly after, started her family. Becoming a mother was one of her biggest accomplishments. She is survived by her three children, Donald Wright, David Wright and Jill Wright. Her eight grandchildren, Rebecca Wright, Kelsie (Justin) Taylor, Olivia Wright, Morgan (Tyler) Wood, Kendall Wright, William Wright, Grant (Emily) Dunn, and Karson Wright. Her three great-grandchildren, Josephine, Hattie and Jessica.
She is preceded in death by her parents Donald and Lillian Burrows, along with her sister Virginia Rohlfing.
Mary Jane touched countless lives with her warmth and kindness—she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
