Barbara Perkins Burrows, age 90, resident of Rossville, Tennessee departed this life on Thursday evening, February 5, 2026, at Baptist Memorial Hospital, Memphis, Tennessee.
Barbara was born on December 6, 1935, in Memphis, Tennessee. She married Ralph Samuel Burrows and was a homemaker all of her life.
Mrs. Burrows loved to ride horses and go to horse shows. She loved singing in the choir at Fisherville Baptist Church, where she was a life-long member; and loved her Lord dearly. She was involved in anything her kids did in school and in sporting events. She was also an avid gardener.
Barbara is survived by her daughter, Debbie Lovelace; her 3 sons, Phil (Monica) Burrows, Carl Burrows, and Brillo “Kim” (Cindy) Burrows; her eight grandchildren, Mandy Collins, Rick Joyner (Brittnie), Chad Lovelace, Holly Pleasants (Steve), Stephani Peterson (Allen), Allison Young, Hunter Burrows, and Cody Burrows (Jacey); 16 Great-grandchildren, and 3 Great-Great-Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Samuel Burrows; her parents, Robert Winston Perkins and Stella Coulter Perkins; 1 sister, Janice P. Beesinger; 1 brother, Robert Lynn Perkins; and 2 Grandchildren, Crystal Wilkerson and Jason Burrows.
Visitation for Mrs. Burrows will be Monday evening, February 9, 2026, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the Peebles Funeral Home West Chapel, located at 10670 Highway 64, Somerville, Tennessee.
Funeral services will be held at First Baptist Church, Fisherville, 11893 Macon Road, Eads, Tennessee, on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at 11:00 AM with Bro. Jack Moore officiating. A visitation will take place at the church prior to the service at 10:00 AM.
Pallbearers will be Steve Pleasants, Houston Collins, Cody Burrows, Allen Peterson, Hunter Burrows and Rick Joyner. Honorary Pallbearers will be Johnie Mynatt, Johnny Burrows, Chad Lovelace, Tate Thomas, and Alan Smith.
