Of Derby, NY, December 4, 2023. Beloved wife of the late Paul C. Bussman, Sr.; loving mother of Carol (James) Meissner, Mary (Joseph) Lacapruccia, Paul Jr. (Francine) Bussman, and Susan McIvor (Donald Niles); cherished grandma of 8 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren; daughter of the late Horace "Tye" and Sarah (nee Van Buskirk) Shenk; dear sister of Martha Brundage, Patricia King, and predeceased 6 brothers and sisters; also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. The family will be present on Friday from 3-7PM at the (Hamburg Chapel) JOHN J. KACZOR FUNERAL HOME, INC., 5453 Southwestern Blvd (Corner of Rogers Road). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday morning at 10AM at St. John Paul II Parish, 2052 Lakeview Rd., Lake View, NY 14085 (Everyone please assemble at the Church). I will miss the lovely conversations I had with my beloved friend, Mary. She would call me to tell me about her darling grand and great grand children and how much she loved visiting her family in Florida for Christmas.
I pray that they are all comforted by God's Holy Spirit and Grace, as well as Christ's birth, and our ultimate salvation. Mary's faith in the Lord was evident to all who knew her.

i have great memories of visits and doings at Holy Family during my 13 years there, with Mary Lou and Paul...esp bingo. i have another committment on Saturday morning, but i will be offering a Mass that evening for her, Paul and the family. She is fnally with Paul. May they rest in peace, together.
