Mary C. Lancaster, age 81, of Hamptonville, NC, passed away Friday, March 21, 2025 at the SECU Hospice House in Yadkinville, NC.
Mary was born Monday, October 25, 1943 in Rutherford County to the late Willie Campbell and Margaret Bradley Campbell. She enjoyed shopping and taking family trips. Her life’s passion was her family. Spending time with her grandkids and great grandkids was what she loved most. Mary was a dedicated homemaker who loved taking care of her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Betty Ervin, Maxine Blanton and a brother, Bobby Campbell.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband of over sixty years, Wayne Lancaster; children, Wendy L. Fowler (Jonas) of Mooresboro, Tena Lancaster of Jonesville, NC, Wayne Lancaster, Jr. (Tereeca) of Yadkinville, NC and Andrew Lancaster of Hamptonville, NC; sisters, Patricia Fowler of Ellenboro and Judy Covington of Boiling Springs, NC; grandchildren, Contessia Farney (Andrew), Brandon Lancaster, Elizabeth Pinnix, Adam Lancaster (Hannah), Justin Lancaster (Brianna), Emma Johns (Collin), Carmine Lancaster, Isabella Lancaster and eleven great grandchildren.
The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, March 26th at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Reverend Ted Blankenship officiating. Interment will follow at Eternal Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the funeral home. At other times they will be gathered at 127 Marine Drive, Mooresboro, NC 28114.
Memorial donations are requested to the SECU Hospice, 243 N. Lee Avenue, Yadkinville, NC 27055.
