KINGSPORT - Mary Helen Calton, went to her heavenly home on Monday, February 24, 2025, surrounded by her family. Mary was born in Hawkins County and was a lifelong resident.
She is preceded in death by her parents, George "Doc" Crigger and Kate Freeman Crigger; husband, Joe Mack Calton; daughters, Sandra Sandiage, Amy Sue Calton; son, Marvin Calton; sister, Mandy "Lou Lou" Duncan; and her brother, Tom Crigger.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Melissa Johnson; (Jeff) son, Wendell Calton; granddaughters, Megan Johnson (Justin), Morgan Hoffman (Joe), Mackenzie and Harley Mauk, and Genine Calton; step-granddaughter, Jodie; grandsons, Nathan Sandiage, Jason Lawson, Lee Calton (Marie), and Josh and Roger Calton; great grandchildren; Riley, Tucker, Aiden, Waylon, Savannah, Aiden, Austin, Bryan and Aliyah, Madison, Maci, McKenna, and Maleah; along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at Bethel Community Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be Wendell Calton, Lee Calton, Justin Patterson, Brittany Calton, Maddy Mallory, Jeff Johnson and Aaron Bradshaw.
