Of the Town of Pendleton, NY, passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at her home under the care of her family and Niagara Hospice. She was born in Buffalo, NY on December 30, 1929, daughter of the late Arthur and Mary [Foote] Snelgrove. Mrs. Chadwick was a secretary for Two Guys 13 years and later became the office manager at L.L. Bergers for 9 years, until it closed, then went back to Two Guys. She was a member of the Beach Ridge Methodist Church and later with Pendleton Center United Methodist Church. Mrs. Chadwick had lived in Lockport for the past 30 years. She enjoyed bowling, sewing, baking and cooking. Mrs. Chadwick was the wife of the late George A. Chadwick, who passed away in March of 2012. She is survived by her daughter Susan (late Kenneth) Mayer, her son-in-law Tim Boettcher, four grandchildren Sheila (Steve Jasinski) Baran, Andrew (Nicole Haas) Mayer, Sara (Ryan) Holmer and K. Glenn (Peggy) Mayer, five great grandchildren Alexander (Britaney), Maximilian (Sierra), Liam, Julianna and Breiann (Trace Miller), also great great grandmother of six, a sister-in-law Averil Snelgrove, also many nieces, nephews and her cats Toby and Inky. Mrs. Chadwick was the mother of the late Paula Boettcher, grandmother of the late Paul Baran, great grandmother of the late Nick and Austin Hager, sister of the late Henry "Hank" Snelgrove, Marian (William) Garland and Beatrice (Edward) O'Neil. Her family will be present on Saturday March 21, 2026, from 3-6:30 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road, SANBORN, NY, followed by a memorial service at 6:30 PM with the Rev. Robert Frank officiating. Memorials may be made in her name to The Pendleton Center Methodist Church, Niagara Hospice or to the Niagara County SPCA.
