She was born on October 7, 1947, in Holden, WV, to the late Ed and Ellen Estep Blankenship.
Mary was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Russell Christian; her brothers John "Bob," William, Wallace, and Matthew Blankenship; and her sisters Susan Curry and Dorothy King.
A devoted homemaker, Mary found joy in the simple things-quilting, sewing, and cooking for her family. She enjoyed daily walks around the neighborhood, valuing her health and the peace of nature.
Mary's memory will be lovingly cherished by her children: son Russell Christian; daughters Stephanie Blankenship-Willis and her husband James, and Samantha Christian Bowchop and her husband Gordon.
She held a deep and special love for her grandchildren: Derek, Myles, Nora, Claire, Rachel, and Edward.
In keeping with Mary's wishes, cremation has taken place, and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
