Shannon Conley, beloved mother, grandmother, teacher, and friend, went home to be with the Lord on July 29, 2025, at the age of 80. A visitation will be held at Fry-Smith Funeral Home on Thursday, August 7 from 5:00-7:00pm. A funeral service will be held at 11:00am at the Jim Ned Valley Church of Christ on Friday, August 8, 2025.
Born in Dayton, Ohio on March 23, 1945, Shannon lived a life marked by deep faith, steadfast love, and a heart for service. She was a dedicated wife and a loving mother to her three children-Symantha, Thom, and Jase-who, along with their families, aim to carry forward her legacy of compassion, love, and strength. She also leaves behind a wide circle of grandchildren, sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews, and dear friends who were blessed by her unwavering kindness and wisdom.
Shannon was a true servant of the Lord. She faithfully planted the seeds of the gospel in her own home, in her community, and around the world. Whether through teaching, mentoring, or simple acts of love, she lived her faith boldly and with quiet humility, always pointing others to the hope she had in Jesus Christ.
She was a lifelong educator, not only in the classroom but in every area of life-teaching by example how to love deeply, live faithfully, and serve joyfully. Her presence was a gift to everyone who knew her, and her legacy will continue to grow in the many lives she touched.
Shannon's life was a testimony to God's love, and her memory will forever be a blessing.
