Mary Crampton Obituary Mary Elizabeth (Griffith) Crampton, 91, of Hagerstown, MD passed away on Saturday, June 7, 2025 at Brookdale Assisted Living in Hagerstown, MD.
Mary was born on June 21, 1933, in Hagerstown, MD to the late George William and Geneva L. (Lafolette) Griffith.
She was a graduate of Boonsboro High School.
Mary was a homemaker for most of her life.
She was a member of Burnside First Church of God in Sharpsburg, MD and most recently of Hagerstown First Church of God in Hagerstown, MD. She was also a retired Pastor of Blue Mountain Church.
Mary is survived by her daughter Debra Gottert (Jim); son Steve Crampton (Kathy); daughter Kelly Barnard; sister Cheryl Rice (John); brother Anthony Griffith; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Gilbert R. "Pete" Crampton, Jr., many brothers and sisters, and 1 grandchild.
Per Marys request there will be no viewing.
A graveside service will be held at Mt. View Cemetery in Sharpsburg, MD on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at 11:00 am with Rev. David Sword officiating.
