Mary Crouse Obituary

September 10, 1942 – August 13, 2025

Loving Mother, Grandmother, and Friend

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Mary Louise Crouse, a devoted mother, grandmother, and cherished friend, who left us on August 13, 2025, at the age of 82. Born on September 10, 1942, Mary was the heart of her family, known for her boundless love, unwavering faith, and remarkable strength.

Mary was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Frank Crouse, with whom she shared over 42 years of marriage. Together, they built a beautiful family, raising six children with love and devotion.

She is survived by her four children: daughter Edna, and her husband Ron Haslbeck, sons Roger and his wife Bonnie, Michael and his wife Kim,  Donald and his wife Pam, and was preceded in death by her two beloved sons, Frankie and Jimmy, whose memories she carried with her every day, and who will forever live in the hearts of those who loved them. Mary was also the proud grandmother of 13 grandchildren, and blessed with many great-grandchildren, all of whom brought immense joy and pride to her life.

Mary's family was her greatest joy, and she took immense pride in watching her children and grandchildren grow, always offering them her unwavering support and unconditional love.

In addition to being a loving mother and grandmother, Mary was a woman of faith and compassion. She had a heart for others and was always ready to offer a helping hand or a listening ear. Her home was a place of comfort, where family and friends were always welcome. Whether she was preparing a meal for her loved ones, sharing a story from her past, or offering words of wisdom, Mary's presence was one of warmth, care, and love.

Services will be held at Baptist View Church 2718 Sharon Rd. Jarrettsville, MD 21084 on August 25, 2025, the viewing will be held at 10:00-11:00am, funeral services immediately following.  A celebration lunch of Mary's life will be held following the service for family and friends, location to be announced.

Mary will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her love and legacy will live on in the hearts of her family, and her spirit will forever shine brightly in the lives she touched.
