Rochester: Suddenly, Friday April 4, 2025, at age 78. Predeceased by her parents, Francis and Judy Crowley. She is survived by her husband, George D. Johnson; sister, Ann Crowley-Hash; stepchildren, David W. Johnson, Darlene Johnson, and David M. (Catalina) Johnson; grandchildren and great grandchildren; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Joseph and Barbara Giancursio, Candice Vroman, Bridget Nevitte, Jennifer and Edwin Santiago; nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Mary Ellen was born August 16,1946 in Bradford, PA. She graduated from Otto-Eldred Jr. Senior High School in 1964, then moved to Rochester NY to attend the Rochester Business School. Mary Ellen had a varied career in business and in the jewelry industry. She met the love of her life, David Johnson, and they were married in May of 1986. After a long life together, Mary Ellen passed suddenly with her husband at her side. She will be greatly missed by family and friends.
Friends may call, Tuesday, April 15, 2025, from 5:00-6:30 PM at DiPonzio Funeral Home, Inc., 219 Spencerport Road, Gates. Her Funeral Service will start at 6:30 PM in the funeral home. Inurnment will be in Pennsylvania at a future date.
