Mary Dee Decker, age 87 of Cumming, Ga went home to be with the Lord Saturday, March 11, 2023.
Mary was born in Cherokee County, Ga on November 18, 1935 to John Clifford and Ruby Francis Hillhouse Haygood. Mary (Granny Mary) was a loving mother to three daughters an adorable grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed the beauty of the outdoors, playing bingo, eating and celebrating special occasions with her family and friends.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents, four siblings, one grandson and one great granddaughter.
Mary is survived by her three daughters Nancy Hill, Rita Blackwell (husband James Blackwell) and Patricia Decker. Her six grandkids, two step grandkids and eleven great grandkids.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 17, 2023, in the Chapel of Ingram Funeral Home at 12:00 pm in Cumming, GA with Rev. Austin Houston officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Gardens in Cumming, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday March 16, 2023, from 12:00pm to 9:00pm.
