Mary Anne Deems

Mary Anne Deems, 84, of Bentleyville, died Thursday, March 19, 2026 in Allegheny General Hospital after a recent battle with illness and was reunited with her husband. She was born March 11, 1942, in Canonsburg, a daughter of the late Martin and Matilda Diebold Seman. She was a graduate of the former Monongahela High School and later became a homemaker for her family. On June 23, 1961, she married her late husband, Charles Deems, Jr., who died May 11, 2023. Mary Anne was loved by all, and enjoyed taking care of her family as well as her beloved cat, Cutie Pie. Catholic by faith, she also was a member of the Independent Club in Bentleyville. She leaves behind two children, Randy Deems of Bentleyville, and Kevin Deems of Finleyville; six grandchildren and eight great- grandchildren; siblings, Kathy Morrison and Donald Seman; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death, in addition to her husband, were her son, Charles Deems; and granddaughter, Ashley Deems. Family and friends will be received Monday, March 23, from 2 to 7 p.m. in Greenlee's Bentleyville Funeral Home, 619 Main Street, Bentleyville. Interment will be private.
