Mary DeFelice Obituary
Mary DeFelice, 77, of Dunmore, died Thursday at Geisinger Community Medical Center in Scranton after being stricken ill. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald A. DeFelice, in 2009.
Born in Dunmore, daughter of the late Michael and Dorothea Amey Capoccia, she attended Dunmore High School and was a member of SS. Anthony and Rocco Parish, Dunmore. She was one to always cherish the time that she spent with her extended family.
Surviving are her siblings, Lois Santarsiero, Michael Capoccia Jr.; and Frank Capoccia and wife, Carla, all of Dunmore; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her sisters, Dorothea Sanders, Joan Frable, Nancy Hicks and Ruth Edwards.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in St. Anthony of Padua Church, Smith Street, Dunmore.
Friends and family may pay their respects that morning from 9 to 10:30 at the Carlucci-Golden-DeSantis Funeral Home Inc., 318 E. Drinker St., Dunmore. Interment, Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst Twp.
