Mary Louise Demaline

Mary Louise Demaline, beloved wife, devoted mother, and compassionate social worker, passed away unexpectedly on November 10, 2025, at the age of 75. Born on August 15, 1950, in Lakewood, Ohio, Lou lived a life dedicated to helping others and enriching her community.

A proud graduate who earned her Master's Degree from Baldwin Wallace University, Lou devoted her career to social work, serving with distinction in various capacities within the community. Her unwavering commitment to advocating for those in need profoundly impacted many lives and left a lasting legacy in her field.

Her interest in family history and volunteering in LDS Family History Center and being a member of the local DAR is what took up much of her time post-retirement. She loved swimming and was active in multiple swimming classes in the area. She was known for her craft and baking skills.

Lou was a cherished wife of 54 years to her husband, Mark Demaline, and a loving mother to her two daughters, Ann Farrell (Jason) and Bridget Demaline (Jonny). She brought joy to her family and friends with her warm smile, kindness, and infectious laughter. Her favorite part of all time was being a grandmother to Clair (Caden), Julia, and Joseph. She was the youngest of three children born to the late Joseph and Elizabeth Feeley. She was preceded in death by sister Karen Halat and survived by her brother James Feeley. She was the beloved Aunt Tu to many nieces and nephews.

Friend and family are welcome to gather at the Busch Funeral Home, 32000 Detroit Rd. for visitation on Tuesday, Nov. 18, from 4pm to 7pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, November 19, 11am, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 33601 Detroit Rd., Avon.
