Mary Diffenauer Obituary
Born on September 8, 1949, in St. Louis, Missouri, to the late William and Dolores Keenoy. She married David Joseph Diffenauer on May 12, 1973. Graduated from Riverview Gardens high school in 1967. Had a long career as a dental hygienist. Volunteered at St. Louis Children's Hospital for over 10 years.
Mary was a beloved Wife, Mother and "Grammy" who is survived by her devoted husband of 52 years, David; daughter Amie Diffenauer; son Jason (Jori) Diffenauer; four grandchildren, Haddie, Macaby, Spencer and Lydia Diffenauer; sister Sharon (Bob) Schmidt along with many dear cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Kimberly.
Mary was an avid shopper, a professional stain remover, an outstanding organizer, and a dessert connoisseur. She was a loyal friend to many and loved being with her family. Her presence will be deeply missed.
Celebration of Life will be held at Hutchens-Stygar Funeral home on Sunday, December 28, 2025 from 12:30pm to 3:30pm.
Memorial donations in Mary's name can be made to St. Louis Children's Hospital or Siteman Cancer Center for Ovarian Cancer
