Mary Ann Duff, a cherished resident of Wills Point, Texas, was born on June 7, 1958, and passed away on October 10, 2024. She was known for her warm spirit and her genuine affection for those around her.

Mary Ann's personality shone brightly as she loved people wholeheartedly and took great joy in caring for them. She was a vibrant individual who embraced life and made the most of every moment, always ready to share a laugh and create joyful memories. Her generosity extended beyond mere words; she found immense pleasure in giving and making others feel special.

In her leisure time, Mary Ann indulged in her passions. She had a knack for decorating and loved to craft, pouring her creativity into making unique items that brought joy to her family and friends. If There are houses in Heaven, you can bet Mary Ann will be decorating them all. As a devoted Financial Aid Administration Assistant at TVCC in Terrell, she dedicated herself not only to her work but also to everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. She considered her co-workers to be her second family and they created a very tight-knit group that shared so much joy and love. Whenever Mary would be away from work for any extended amount of time, she would often remind her work family to take care of her plants. So, TVCC, lets make it a jungle in there!

Mary Ann's legacy will be lovingly remembered by her surviving family members, including her devoted husband, Jimmie Duff of Wills Point, TX; her daughter, Kellie Burgess and her husband, Philip Pitts of Wills Point, TX; and her step-son, Billy Duff and his wife, Stacy of Terrell, TX. She took pride in her granddaughters: Sable Burgess of Norman, OK, Jamie Dyson and her husband Garret of Caddo Mills, TX, and Baily Duff, along with her step-granddaughters Kali, Kaitlyn, Krystian, and Ashley from Terrell, TX. Mary Ann was also a beloved great-grandmother to Waylon Dyson, Austyn Dyson, Nathan, Michael, Knox, and Lexi, who will carry her memory forward in their hearts.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Nathan Albert David and Patty Ruth David (Bush), as well as her step-son, Michael Duff.

A memorial service honoring Mary Ann’s life will be held on October 29, 2024, at 12:00 PM at Anderson Clayton Funeral Home located at 301 W. Nash St., Terrell, TX 75160. Friends and loved ones are invited to gather in remembrance of a remarkable woman who touched so many lives with her kindness and strength. Mary Ann will be profoundly missed but forever remembered as a beacon of love and warmth in her community.
